Emma Carrion Moschen

I'm a screenwriter telling stories about haunted women in spooky places. You can find some of those stories here.

About Me

I was born in Spain and grew up collecting fantasy books all over the world, but it was inevitable that I would fall in love with horror. My grandma raised me on fairytales. One of these was of a man who fed a chunk of his flesh to a bird so it would fly him to the fountain of youth. I asked her to re-tell it multiple times a night. I was four.

My love for dark narratives led me to discover videogames, tv shows and films. Pan's Labyrinth was my first introduction to horror on screen and I was instantly hooked.

All of this culminated in a screenwriting BA from the University of Suffolk where I discovered that I love writing about complicated women as much as I love to analyse them. Now I tell my own stories about spooky things hiding in unreachable places, but no one is feeding their flesh to a bird (at least not yet).
